2025 Flying Stars
Year of the Wood Snake
You need to make your changes on 4th February 2025.
Flying Stars Feng Shui recognises that the earth's energies change each year, coinciding with Chinese New Year.
The attached summary chart will give you some indication of what you can do to improve or protect your environment this year.
I refer to the Five Elements so you can use colours and objects to provide cures, i.e.
Element | Colours | Objects | Shapes |
---|---|---|---|
EARTH | Yellow, ochre, orange | Bricks, tiles, clay, ceramics, terracotta | Square |
WOOD | Green, brown | Plants, flowers, trees, wooden furniture | Rectangular |
FIRE | Red, purple, pink | Candles, bright lights | Triangular shapes |
METAL | White, silver, gold | Steel, copper, brass | Round shapes |
WATER | Blue, black, greys | Fish tanks, mirrors | Wavy shapes |
In addition to colours, there are various objects and symbols that are used in Feng Shui. You can reuse most of the cures from previous years provided you cleanse and recharge them before repositioning them—wash them thoroughly and place them in the sun for several hours.
It is not necessary to have all such symbols, but the areas you consider important should be carefully looked at and suitable cures placed.
You should always protect yourself from the Grand Duke (located this year in the South East) by placing a Pi Yao in the North West sector, facing him in the opposite sector. The 3 Killings are in the East, which makes that reputation sector even more volatile, so it is even more important to protect yourself from the mischievous energy of the Grand Duke in the South East.
2024 was the start of a whole new 20-year cycle in Feng Shui, so some of the interactions with the Star energies and the 5 Elements changed a little, and this readjustment continues in 2025, though hopefully will be more stable than last year.
The main influence this year is the Illness Star being in the Centre of the Lo Pan Square. In most homes or businesses, the centre is generally a high traffic area, so everybody will be in constant contact with this energy, so please place the appropriate cures. Fortunately, in this new period, the illness star has taken on some of the softer energy of the relationship star.
Every year, there are positive and negative energies. This year is no different in that, with Feng Shui, you can encourage the good and block the bad. If you need assistance to understand this system of Feng Shui, please feel free to discuss your concerns with us in the shops.
Remember, the first rule of Feng Shui is that if it feels good, go with it; if it doesn’t feel right, then change it.
Graham.
